The candidate for President Silvia Radu on October 10 launched her election campaign. In her speech in front of the State Residence, Silvia Radu said she will initiate economic reforms and will promote social policies where the family plays the key role, IPN reports.
“I’m convinced that the role and mission of the President of the Republic of Moldova must be different from the current ones. We will together carry out a campaign based on unity and power of the people, regardless of their ethnicity, social or political affiliation and of the spoken language,” stated Silvia Radu.
The candidate said that if she is elected President, she will create a platform of communication between people and the state and will constitute a supreme economic council and a supreme civil council under the Head of State, by the model of the Supreme Security Council, in order to remedy the economic and social situation in the country.
Silvia Radu said she will initiate economic reforms to ensure the country’s development and will contribute to the promotion of policies that will create jobs and will attract investments. “I will eliminate the bureaucratic and administrative barriers that prevent the development of enterprises. I will devote special attention to the small and medium-sized enterprises that are the real source of jobs. I will ensure fiscal and legislative predictability so that the state could develop together with its enterprises,” stated the candidate, noting that social insurance and education are among her priorities.
Silvia Radu is under No. 9 on the ballot. Her slogan for the election campaign is “Silvia Radu – your independent President!”.
