The parliamentary group of the Shor Party will not propose a candidate for Prime Minister. It will support the candidate proposed by the group of the Party of Action and Solidarity, the group’s secretary Marina Tauber announced after the consultations held with President Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
“We understand that the parliamentary majority will have the votes needed to invest a new Government. The people’s vote cannot be ignored,” stated Marina Tauber.
“We will come up with a number of social initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of the citizens. We expect the given initiatives will be supported by the new Parliament and the new Government. We hope for a constructive dialogue between the presidential administration, Parliament and the Government.”
Shor Party MP Denis Ulanov said the activity of the parliamentary group of the Shor Party was and will be constructive. “We hope the parliamentary majority will take into account the opinions formulated by the Shor Party, even if the party has a low number of MPs,” he stated.
