Reghina Apostolova, the candidate of the Shor Party in the mayoral elections that will take place in Chisinau municipality on May 20, submitted the documents for being registered as a contender on April 4, IPN reports.
Reghina Apostolova said she decided to run because she has a rich experience and knows well how to manage a city. The needs of the residents of Orhei town, where the party’s leader Ilan Shor serves as a mayor, and those of the inhabitants of Chisinau do not differ much. Chisinau also needs projects that would make it cleaner, more comfortable and nicer.
Today it is the first day when the applicants could file the necessary documents to the Chisinau Municipal District Electoral Council. The Council has seven days to check the documents and take a decision as to the candidates’ registration.
