The Shor Party considers the decision by which the operation of amusement parks was banned is “an attack on OrheiLand” and a political order. According to MP of the Shor Party Denis Ulanov, the measures imposed during the pandemic are only a pretext, given that the shopping centers, markets and the Zoological Garden in Chisinau, where crowds of people can form, work, IPN reports.
“The Sunday police attack on “OrheiLand” is an attempt to punish the residents of Orhei for their political preferences,” Denis Ulanov stated in a press briefing. According to him, the Dodon-Chicu regime blame the people for the spread of the coronavirus, trying this way to hide the own impotence and incompetence,” said the MP, noting the Shor Party will ask the Constitutional Court to verity the decisions taken by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission.
The MP presented a number of images of crowds caught in public places in the capital city. “In Chisinau, no one engages the police, as they did at “OrheiLand”. Here, the mayor represents them and everything is thus allowed here,” stated Ulanov.
According to the MP, in some of the countries where the authorities acted correctly, the pandemic didn’t have such a devastating effect on the economy, social sphere and the population’s health. “Only the authorities in the Republic of Moldova say they are not responsible as the people are to blame for the spread of the virus. They do not yet see their lack of professionalism,” said Denis Ulanov.
By a decision made on June 27, the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission banned the operation of amusement parks and fairs.
