Members and sympathizers of the Shor Party staged a new antigovernment protest, this time in front of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The police said that 16 persons, among who were three minors left without supervision, were taken to the police station for being identified and questioned, IPN reports.

The General Police Inspectorate said that one of the 16 escorted persons is wanted by the police.

The protesters said that they will walk to the Memorial Complex “Eternity”, along Pan Halippa St, Ismail St and Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd, to the Academy of Sciences and from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd will walk to Vasile Alecsandri St, from Alexandru cel Bun St up to Prosecutor General’s Office.

“In this connection, we request the citizens – pedestrians and drivers – to show understanding and to obey the demands of the police, including over the inaccessibility of the mentioned road sections. We also reiterate that the organizers are responsible for the assumed actions and for the behavior of participants and the peaceful conduct of the protest,” said the Inspectorate.
