Sheriff Tiraspol took one more important step towards winning a new title of national football champion. On March 31, the ‘Yellow-Blacks’ drew the derby match with Dacia Chisinau 0-0, IPN reports. Sheriff remains a leader with an advantage of 12 points before Dacia.
With a bit of luck, Dacia could have won a victory, but it had missed several good occasions for scoring. “I’m not satisfied with the result. We were much better than our adversaries,” Dacia coach Igor Dobrovolski said after the game.
”Our game is beyond expectations. We must analyze the mistakes and remedy the situation,” said Sheriff coach Mihai Stoichita.
