Sheriff Tiraspol takes determined steps towards winning a new title of champion. It won the 23rd victory of the season after beating Academia 4-1, IPN reports.

The goals for the champions were scored by Isa (9th minute), Luvannor (20th), Furdui (32nd) and Potiguar (80th). Calincov reduced the difference for Academia in the 83rd minute. Now Sheriff is an invincible leader with 71 points, having by 8 points more than the second ranked FC Tiraspol, which defeated Speranta 2-0.

The derby of the 27th stage was played in Speia. Dacia won against Milsami 2-0. Veris beat FC Costuleni 2-0 and has the same score as Dacia. In another match, Dinamo-Auto trounced Olimpia 4-1. The next stage will take place on April 19.
