Sheriff Tiraspol remains without main coach
Sheriff Tiraspol does not have a chief coach. Despite having an excellent season, Leonid Kuchuk decided not to renew the contract with the Tiraspol-based team, Info-Prim Neo reports.
It is said that the reason was the dissentions between the supporters of the club and the coach’s son Alexei Kuchuk. However, the press in Belarus repeatedly reported that Leonid Kuchuk could take over the national Belarusian team.
”While I coached Sheriff, the team achieved important results not only in Moldova, but also in Europe,” Leonid Kuchuk said.
The administration of the club Sheriff could not be found for comment.
Leonid Kuchuk started to coach Sheriff in 2004. Together with him, Sheriff has won six titles of champion, three Super Cups, three Moldova’s Cups and the Cup of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
