Current champion Sheriff Tiraspol climbed to the first spot in the National Division after beating Saxan 5-1, IPN reports.

Croatian player Josip Brezovec scored two goals and shared thus the title of top scorer of the championship with Maxim Feshchuk of Dacia, with seven goals scored. Sheriff has by one point fewer than Milsami, which was absent from the 15th stage.

Dacia defeated Academia 1-0 and remains on the rostrum. International player Veaceslav Posmac scored the only goal in the 39th minute from a penalty.

Zimbru beat Speranta by the same score. Brazilian footballer Jean Theodoro scored in the 18th minute. Despite the victory, Zimbru remained on the fifth place because Zaria won against Dinamo-Auto 2-1. Diarra opened the score for the guests, but after the break Igor Tigarlas brought the victory to Zaria after scoring in the 67th and 77th minutes.

In another match of the stage, Petrocub-Hancesti won the most categorical victory in its history in the top league after demolishing Ungheni 5-0. Fullback Dorin Popovici scored two goals. Owing to this victory, Petrocub-Hancesti climbed to the sixth spot, being one point ahead Speranta.
