Sheriff Tiraspol beat Olimpia Bali 3-0 in the last match of the 15th stage of the National Division on November 10. Thus, the current champion preserved the advantage of 7 points before FC Costuleni and FC Tiraspol, IPN reports.

The best scorer of the championship Henrique Luvannor was first in reserve, but then entered the field and managed to score in the second half, as a result of a kick from Furdui. The player, who will make his debut for the national football team in a week, scored in the sixth consecutive match. He now has 14 goals, by two more than Viorel Frunza, of Veris.

Veaceslav Lisa and Spanish player Melli scored for Sheriff in the first half. Lisa played his first match this season, after recovering from injury.

“It was hard to motivate the players after the match against Tottenham. But they are professionals and scored an important victory in the struggle for the title,” Sheriff coach Veaceslav Rusnac said in a news conference.

The other matches of the 15th stage ended as follows: Dacia - Rapid 1-1, Academia - Veris 0-3, Dinamo-Auto - Costuleni 0-1, Milsami - Zimbru 4-2, and Speranta - Tiraspol 0-3. The next stage will take place on November 23.
