Sheriff Tiraspol suffered their second consecutive defeat in the training camp in Turkey. The Black’n’Yellows were defeated 0-1 by Ukrainian side Metalurg Donetsk, Info-Prim Neo reports. The only goal of the match was scored by Volovin before the break. Until their return home on January 28, Sheriff will most likely play one more friendly game, although the adversaries aren’t known yet. On Tuesday, January 24, another Moldovan team training in Antalya CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici will play their last friendly against Russian outfit Dynamo Petrotest St Petersburg. The Moldovans coached by Sergiu Secu have recorded a win, a draw and five losses in their last matches. Other Moldovan clubs will go to train in Turkey soon. The national championship resumes on March 3.
