Sheriff obtained the second point in the Europa League groups after tying 1-1 with Tromso away on October 3. Even if Sheriff went to Norway after a victory, Sheriff remained satisfied with the result of the match, IPN reports.

Ondrasek scored for Tromso in the 65th minute. Eight minutes later, Spanish fullback Melli was eliminated and Tromso was in numeric inferiority. Brazilian player Ricardinho scored for Sheriff in the 87th minute.  

“The draw is a fair result. All the teams of this group have chances to play in the European spring,” Sheriff coach Veaceslav Rusnac said in a news conference after the match.

Sheriff ranks second in the group with two points. It has by four points fewer that the leading Tottenham. The English team beat Anji 2-0 by the goals scored by Defoe and Chadli. Moldova’s champion will play the next match against Tottenham in Tiraspol on October 24.
