Sheriff Tiraspol learned its possible opponent in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The team trained by Goran Sablic could meet the champion of Austria during the past five years Salzburg, IPN reports.

The first match was scheduled for August 7, away, while the second leg will be played in a week. To reach the third round, Sheriff must beat Shkedija. The first leg is played in Macedonia in the evening of July 24, while the second leg will take place in Tiraspol on July 31.

Sheriff will be able to continue contending in the European cups if it is eliminated by Shkendija in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. In such conditions, the team from Tiraspol will reach the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League where it will play against the winner of the encounter between Santa Coloma of Andorra and Valur Reykjavik of Iceland.
