Sheriff became again Moldova’s football champion

Sheriff Tiraspol won the 11th title of national football champion after demolishing Sfantul Gheorghe Suruceni 5-0 on May 18, Info-Prim Neo reports. Though they dominated the whole match, Sheriff scored all the goals in the second half. Dacia Chisinau ranked second in the National Division this season. The last season’s champion won against CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici 2-0, but can no longer surpass Sheriff. The bronze medal was won by Zimbru Chisinau that beat Nistru Otaci 3-0. The other matches of the 32nd stage ended as follows: FC Costuleni – Academia UTM Chisinau 2-2, Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa – FC Tiraspol 0-2, Milsami-Ursidos – Olimpia Balti 2-2.
