Sheriff announces first signings this winter

Sheriff signed two Brazilian players: defensive midfielder Hernandez Dias and forward Juninho Potiguara, both from Brazil's second tier, IPN, reports.

Potiguara is 23 years old and previously played for Icasa, where he scored 20 goals in 66 games. Hernandez Dias is 26 and was brought from Atletico Goianiense. Despite being a defensive player, he found the net 9 times during the last 2 years.

Meanwhile, Sheriff sold Croatian goalkeeper Vjekoslav Tomic to Khazar Lenkoran. In search for his replacement, the Tiraspol side are negotiating with their former player Serghei Pascenco.

Sheriff will travel to Turkey on January 20, where they will stay for a training camp and will play friendly matches against FC Vaslui, Ludogorets, Petrolul Ploiesti, OFK Beograd and FC Botosani.
