The works to extensively repair the domestic wastewater sewer located at 106 Grenoble St in Chisinau, which dates from 1985, were completed, IPN reports.

The public utility SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau in a press release says that multiple accidents occurred here earlier. These caused inconveniences to consumers and required many interventions. The damaged pipe that was 200 long and had a diameter of 800 mm was replaced with propylene tubes that can be used or 50 years. This will help improve the sewerage services for end-users living on a number of streets.

The renovated sewer carries away wastewater from the consumers in Ialoveni town and those living on the Chisinau streets Valea Radiului, Zodiac, Sf. Vineri, Fecioarei, Roguleni and others through the wastewater pumping station “Motel”.

The performed works were classed as capital investment planned for this year.
