Severe Train Crash in Czech Rep
Seven people died and 67 other were injured in a severe train crash in north-eastern Czech Republic. No Moldovan nationals have been reported among the casualties, Info-Prim-Neo learned from Moldova’s MFA.
The train was traveling at 140km/h from the Polish city of Krakow to the Czech capital, Prague, when it hit a collapsed bridge.
According to the MFA, the Moldovan Embassy in the Czech Republic is keeping in touch with the Czech authorities and is ready to offer the needed assistance if Moldovans are found among the victims.
