Starting today, February 1, several public transport waiting stations in Chișinău have been renamed. The Chisinau City Hall specifies that the decision was made to better reflect local landmarks, IPN reports.

Municipal transport operators, the Electric Transport Authority and the Urban Bus Park, will update their schedules and reflect the new names on the information panels placed at the affected stations.

Additionally, the audio announcements in trolleybuses and buses regarding the station names will be adjusted.
