Several people living on Metropolitan Bishop Dosoftei St in Chisinau’s Buiucani district remained blocked in an elevator in the morning of April 1 following an accident at a transformer unit. Press officer of Gas Natural Fenosa Vasile Gribincea has told IPN that the accident happened after a burst hot water pipe managed by the Chisinau heat supplier SA Termocom flooded the transformer unit.

The situation was remedied in 15-20 de minutes. Afterward, all the end-users were reconnected to the power supply.
