Several more MPs vacate seats
Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar, Minister of Construction and Regional Development Marcel Raducan and Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga renounced the seats of legislators. The three entered the Parliament on the Democratic ticket, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During a news conference on Thursday, the president of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu said in a week or two the three MPs will be replaced by substitute candidates. Most probably, these will be politologist Oazu Nantoi, the head of the Union of Oenologists of Moldova Gheorghe Arpetin and the head of the laboratory of the Oncology Institute Valentina Stratan.
On the same day, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Valeriu Turea announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca, of the PLDM, will also vacate the seat of MP. Prime Minister Vlad Filat, the leader of the PLDM, was to first to quit the legislative seat. The Parliament is to examine the given decisions.
