Several government websites cannot be accessed, including the Presidency and the Government websites. Similarly, the websites of the Interior Ministry, the Information and Security Service (SIS) and the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC) cannot be accessed, IPN reports.

(UPDATE) Asked to comment on whether a cyber-attack had occurred and to give details of the incident, Ion Buga, the STISC's media relations officer, did not comment on the situation for the time being, nor had the SIS issued a statement before the news was available.
