Several charter flights will be organized daily for the Moldovan citizens who are abroad and who want to return home. The lists of passengers will be compiled through the agency of embassies and priority will be given to mothers with children, students, persons with health problems, President Igor Dodon stated after the March 30 meeting of senior state officials, IPN reports.
“We succeeded in managing the risk of massive introduction of this virus into the Republic of Moldova. That’s why, in order to maintain and to enable the authorities to manage the inflows, charter flights will be organized gradually,” said President Dodon.
The decisions concerning the operation of charter flights are approved by the Commission for Exceptional Situations. The flights are organized together with airlines.
