A semi-trailer truck hit a number of cars parked by the roadside in Lipcani village of Briceni district. As a result of the impact, three persons were hurt.
Contacted by IPN for details, Briceni Police Inspectorate press office Svetlana Talpă said the accident occurred after 10am on October 22. The truck was transporting 20 tonnes of gravel, being driven by a man aged 55.
It was preliminarily determined that the driver lost control of the truck due to a technical fault.
Two drivers and a female occupant of the struck cars suffered injuries.
