The damage caused by the frost becomes more serious. Seventy trees were downed and nine cars were damaged by broken trees and branches in Chisinau following the difficult weather conditions on January 20, IPN reports.
Eliferii Haruta, manager of the Green Areas Association of Chisinau, said they continue to receive calls to remove the broken trees.
On Docuceaev St, a tree fell on the trolleybus line and created a traffic jam in the area. Employees of the Green Areas Association will continue to work at night in order to remove the broken trees and branches.
