Seven presidential advisers discharged
Seven presidential advisers will be discharged from their posts effective September 14, in connection with the resignation of President Vladimir Voronin, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release from the presidential office, the seven advisers are Oxana Domenti, counselor for social development matters; Tudor Vasilica, counselor for foreign affairs and European integration; Oleg Reidman, counselor for economic matters; Viorelia Moldovan-Batranac, counselor for matters of culture, education and science; Petru Griciuc, counselor for matters of agriculture, industry and public administration; Serghei Puscuta, financial adviser; and Igor Vremea, legal adviser.
Vladimir Voronin announced his resignation on September 11. He is limited by the Constitution to run for another term, after serving two consecutive presidential terms.
