The Government introduced seven new specialties in the curriculum of higher education institutions. According to the head of the Education Ministry’s Higher Education Division Nadejda Velishko, more than 20,000 places will be available for those who want to obtain a Bachelor’s degree, 6,700 of which are budget-funded, IPN reports.

The new specialties instituted at universities are:  Human Resources Management; Antifire Services; History and Theory of Plastic Arts; Dramaturgy and Playwriting; Artistic Management; Law; Border Security; Filmology, Film and TV Production.

The universities of Moldova include 167 specialties. Applications to universities can be submitted between July 16 and July 27.
