Seven get injured in car accidents
Seven people got traumatised in two severe road accidents in Chisinau on Monday.
Traffic Security Service Inspector of the Chisinau Traffic police Ion Roscovanu has told Info-Prim Neo the first accident occurred at about 8 AM on the Uzinelor Street. A BMW driven by a man of 23 hit a 37-year-old woman. The victim was taken by the ambulance more bones broken.
Another BMW, driven by a student at the International Free University, aged 24 and with no driver licence, collided with a104 route minibus, driven by a man of 42. The crash occurred at about noon on the Decebal Boulevard. The car was rushing from Botanica to Centru district. All of a sudden, the young man lost control of the car, slid and got on the opposite side violently colliding with a pillar. All that happened in front of a passenger-carrying minibus running regularly. The minibus driver could not avoid the collision. The young driver got severely traumatised and is now in coma at the Emergency Hospital. A 21-year-old passenger of the car got head injuries, as well as the minibus driver and three female passengers of 32, 49 and 57 years of age.
In addition to these grave accidents, other 21 crashes without victims happened in the capital.
