Moldova’s Post Office put a new series of postage stamps into circulation. The series “Europe 2017. Castles” includes the postage stamp, a stamps book and an envelope. The postage stamp contains the image of the Mimi Castle, which is an architectural monument of national importance located in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district, IPN reports.

The postage stamp was issued in 100,000 copies in the 46 x 27.5 mm format. The price of such a stamp is 11 lei. The stamps book “Mimi Castle” was issued in 5,000 copies. The editions were signed by designer Vitaliu Pogolsa.

The Mimi Castle was reopened to the public after restoration in 2016.
