MP of the platform “For Moldova” Sergiu Sîrbu said most probably he will not run in snap parliamentary elections, if these are held, and he started to think about doing something else, IPN reports.
“I stopped aspiring to the seat of MP and time has probably come to focus on something else. But as long as I hold this sea, I will do my best to help the people. If I run again, I will do it only on the list of people,” Sergiu Sîrbu stated in the program “Ghețu Asks” on TV8 channel.
According to the MP, the snap parliamentary elections would not bring about serious changes in the Republic of Moldova and the people want new elections only because this subject has been on the public agenda for several months.
“The people want snap elections because we have spoken on TV only about them during two months and this has an impact on the opinion of all the people. Having snap elections should not be a goal as these elections will not bring improved living conditions to the people,” said Sergiu Sîrbu.
MP Sergiu Sîrbu was a member of the Party of Communists and then of the Democratic Party, which he also left and joined the Pro Moldova Party led by Andrian Candu. Currently, he forms part of the parliamentary platform “For Moldova”.
