Sergiu Secu resigned as the coach of Sfantul Gheorghe after the team from Suruceni lost at home to Petrocub 3-6. This is the first resignation in the current edition of the National Football Division, IPN reports.

“I have no comments to make,” Secu stated in the news conference given after the encounter with Petrocub. Sergiu Secu left Sfantul Gheorghe on the last place after three stages played, with one point.

Secu’s ex-assistant Sergiu Cebotari was named the new coach of the team from Suruceni. On April 22, Sfantul Gheorghe plays against Milsami in Orhei.
