The people every time go to polls in the hope that things will change to the better. The voters are tired of the degradation witnessed in practically all the spheres and want the economy to be revitalized and fair justice to be ensured and these wishes unite everyone, regardless of their political preferences, said the head of the Association of Historians and Politologists “PRO Moldova” Sergiu Nazaria.
Contacted by IPN, Sergiu Nazaria said the last seven years, but actually all the 25 years of the declaration of Independence have been inefficient from all viewpoints – economic, sociopolitical and law enforcement. The situation in education and culture also leaves to be desired. Particular results were achieved owing to enthusiastic people who are guided by patriotic feelings.
The head of the Association of Historians and Politologists “PRO Moldova” also said that the voters are divided into supporters of the right and supporters of the left, but most of them want good relations both with the East and the West. “The improvement of relations with one of these important players must not be to the detriment of the relations with the other,” stated Sergiu Nazaria. According to him, society is also split according to the identity – Moldovan or Romanian – and there are people who see the change differently. However, most of them want changes and these will occur.
