The Chisinau Appellate Court rejected a prosecutor's request on June 15 to hold the politician Sergiu Mocanu in the police's custody for other 30 days. After hearing the sides, the court ordered to reject the request as ungrounded, the press office of Mocanu's People's Action Movement is quoted by Info-Prim Neo as informing. Sergiu Mocanu will stay in house arrest till July 12. Chisinau's Buiucani district court decided to change Mocanu's remand location from the police to his home on June 11. Sergiu Mocanu is accused of organizing and leading the Chisinau revolt of April 7.
