The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) will not pass the election threshold and the party’s first deputy chairman Vlad Plahotniuc will thus stage a series of actions in order to destabilize the situation in the country, the leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu said in a news conference at IPN. According to him, this was the subject discussed in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Magistrates called by President Nicolae Timofti on November 24.
“Yesterday’s meeting of the Supreme Council of Magistrates was a farce, while Timofti was a clown that fulfilled Plahotniuc’s orders,” stated Sergiu Mocanu. He harshly criticized the presence of the president of the Central Election Commission Iurie Ciocan at the Council’s meeting. “What did the CEC president do at a meeting centering on state security? Nobody asked Ciocan what he was doing there. We know why he went there. He is now the one who fulfils Plahotniuc’s orders.
“There is no other danger that the situation in Moldova will be destabilized after this compromised elections than the danger posed by the police bodies of Plahotniuc. I warned earlier too that Plahotniuc owns police bodies that are able to stage any diversion in Moldova, from intelligence agents up to the armed wing of this mafia organization. Plahotniuc now has 500 people in the security bodies of his businesses. What kind of danger are we speaking about? About the danger of Plahotniuc being ready to turn things upside down in this county if the PDM fails to enter Parliament. This danger is evident and real because the Democratic Party, according to their internal polls, goes down under the threshold of 6%,” said the leader of “Antimafie”.
Sergiu Mocanu also said that neither the Liberal Party will pass the election threshold. The parties of the current government coalition have one campaign staff and the same teams stick posters of the PDM, PLDM and PL, while the competition and rivalry between them are false. “Antimafie” will pass the election threshold and they fear that Vlad Plahotniuc and Vlad Filat will flee the country after the elections. The politician thus called on the prosecutors who have access to the files of the two to provide information so that a travel restriction could be placed on Filat and Plahotniuc and the two do not leave Chisinau.
Sergiu Mocanu announced that he and other members of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” will daily give by a news conference up to the end of the election campaign.
