The idea that the people will make a choice between the East and the West in this autumn’s elections is wrong, the leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu said in the program “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, IPN reports.
Mocanu considers that we are not involved in a geopolitical struggle because Moldova is in Europe, while Ukraine is like a protection wall for Moldova. The idea of a geopolitical choice, of the European course, is fueled by Vlad Plahotniuc and Vlad Filat in a move to distract the voters’ attention from the real choice.
“On November 30, we must make a choice between honest people and those who steal. I, who struggled for Moldova’s integrity in the Transnistrian conflict, didn’t think that I will struggle also against those who rob the country. Plahotniuc, Filat and Voronin are not my political opponents. They are our enemies who we must remove from the government and jail them for the committed crimes. The people must understand that if we do not get rid of them now, our children risk being robbed by their successors. It’s not excluded that if these persons win the elections, the state will be dispossessed of Moldtelecom and the railways in the same way as it was dispossessed of the other property, including the airport and Banca de Eonomii,” stated Mocanu.
The leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” said the organization he heads will take part in the election campaign will the slogan “Don’t steal!”.
