The head of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu accuses the leaders of the Platform “Dignity and Truth”, especially Andrei Nastase, of betraying protesters’ trust. He made such accusations in the program “Fourth power” on N 4 channel, IPN reports.

“I’m now not heard. There are others who struggle against Plahotniuc, as these say. Andrei Nastase is a person who pursues his own goals and he disappointed the protesters. Even if he comes to power, he will lose the struggle against Plahotniuc, as Filat did. When Filat declared war on the puppeteer, I knew that he will not succeed. Someone who has so many illegalities behind cannot dethrone such a person like Plahotniuc. Now the protest of the Platform “Dignity and Truth” is covered by Igor Dodon and Renato Usatyi, who are known to be Moscow’s men. Nastase betrayed the Liberal wing of the protesters,” stated Mocanu.

The politician noted that he does not see an enemy in Nastase. “My enemy is Plahotniuc. I do not struggle against Nastase, Topa, the Platform “Dignity and Truth” or someone else from their circle. I struggle against Plahotniuc,” said Mocanu.

Though he made it clear that he is not close to Victor and Viorel Topa, Sergiu Mocanu said that these two are the first victims of Plahotnuc. “They were the first in the Republic of Moldova who spoke about the illegalities in the big business here. They created that fissure through which information was leaked about the large-scale thefts of state property. The judiciary controlled by Plahotniuc convicted them for this,” stated Mocanu.
