Former international Sergiu Kleshchenko became the new coach of the Under-21 national football team of Moldova. He replaced Danut Oprea, who tendered his resignation after the defeat suffered in Croatia, IPN reports.
In the current qualifying competition, the Under-21 team suffered six defeats in seven matches and ranks last but one in the group. Now Moldova is to play at home against Belarus and San Marino and away against the Czech Republic.
Also, Sergiu Kleshchenko will train the Under-20 team for the friendly match against the similar squad of Slovakia that will be played in Chisinau on May 30.
