Former Balti councilor Sergiu Banari Monday announced that he abandons public life and any activity involving stating one’s opinion on political events and, as a specialist in polygraph examination, is launching a polygraph testing project in concert with OnlineMedia SRL, Info-Prim Neo reports. “By this project, we want to support the fight against corruption, the underground economy, influence peddling, the offenders and all those who tell lies,” Sergiu Banari told a news conference. The project covers the private companies, state institutions and individuals, including the politicians and persons who want to hold important state positions. The tests are anonymous and the results are made public only when the tested person wants this. “I think our politicians should ask for such tests so as to show society that they have good intentions when they want to come to power and that they are not corrupt,” said Sergiu Banari. According to him, the tests will be done by modern polygraphs that are 99% precise. OnlineMedia SRL is also launching a televised program similar to the U.S. one “Moment of Truth”. Negotiations with national TV channels will start this week, said Sergiu Banari.
