Brothers Sergei and Oleg Tarnovschi climbed on to the winner’s rostrum at the Canoe World Cup in Hungary, in the 500 meters individual race, IPN reports.
Nicolae Juravschi’s students achieved the results of 1:47.28 and 1:47.78, respectively. Olympic champion Isaquias Queiroz of Brazil became the winner.
In the women’s 200 meters doubles, the Daniela Cociu – Maria Olărașu duo won the silver medal. Viktor Reneiski’s pupils scored 43.66 and were beaten by Antia Jacome and Maria Corbera of Spain (42.66).
