Serafim Urecheanu voted in the second round of local elections, feeling hope and sadness

Leader of the Party “Our Moldova Alliance” Serafim Urecheanu, former general mayor of the Chisinau City, voted on Sunday, June 17, within the second round of local elections, having contradictory feelings of hope and sadness. Serafim Urecheanu told Info-Prim Neo that his hope is nourished by the electors’ choice for a change in Moldova, while sadness is coming from what he called “the collapse of the local public administration”. The former mayor of the capital city says the fact this poll is the sixth one since he left in May 2005 for the Parliament, can be explained by the loss of the population’s trust in the local public administration.
