Serafim Urecheanu satisfied with work of parties involved in Transnistrian conflict settlement process
“The Moldova Noastra Alliance political party supports the Moldovan Government's position made public on May 17, after the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine issued a joint statement on the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. We approve of the fact that Moldova's dialogue partners in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process are ready to contribute to the resolution of the dispute at the talks in the 5+2 format,” the chairman of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) Serafim Urecheanu told Info-Prim Neo.
“I am satisfied with the work of the parties involved in the negotiation process and with the fact that they support Moldova's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The position expressed by the Vice President of the European Commission in this connection on May 17 confirms this,” Serafim Urecheanu said.
The leader of the AMN reiterated the support for the Government's steps to renew the talks and the measures aimed at building confidence between the people living on the banks of the Nistru. He expressed his confidence that the balanced and pragmatic approaches proposed by the AMN, whose representative Victor Osipov is responsible for the reunification policies, also make a contribution.
”We continue to promote the message that we should adhere to the European values and establish coherent and advantageous relations with our dialogue partners from the West and the East together with which we must ensure security and peace in this part of the world,” Serafim Urecheanu said.
