The new first deputy head of Parliament Serafim Urecheanu said he is glad that all the MPs of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) voted for him, Info-Prim Neo reports. Asked why the AEI did not take into account the PCRM’s request to give the post of first deputy speaker to its parliamentary group, Urecheanu said that the Alliance holds a majority and thus has the power to decide. “The Communists want a lot of things, but it is time that they leave,” Urecheanu said.
