To celebrate 100 years since the writing of the poem “Our language” by Alexei Mateevici, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research recommends schools to organize a homeroom class with the motto “Our language is a treasure”. The advisory note has been signed Minister Monica Babuc, IPN reports.
“Class masters from 1st to 12th grades are encouraged to organize activities that foster among students civic responsibility, the culture of communication, the knowing of Romanian language and of the historical figures that promoted our national values in the European context”, reads the note.
According to the same document, the official beginning of school festivities will be held on Friday, September 1, at 8.30 AM, in all the schools. The event will begin by honoring the state symbols. The ceremony should not last more than 45 minutes.
