Citizens residing outside Chisinau, who intend to visit the capital on Wednesday, August 22, are advised to take into account that certain arteries of the city, especially Botanica and Center districts, will have restricted circulation, in light of the German Chancellor’s visit. Chisinau’s car owners are advised to abstain from driving around the center of the city and keep calm regarding the circulation difficulties that may arise, reports Info-Prim Neo. According to a communique from the Ministry of Interior, if the Traffic Police vehicle’s flasher shows the red and blue lights concomitantly, the drivers are obligated to stop movement, as far on the right side of the road as possible. For more efficient protection and guarding measures for the official delegates, a closed perimeter will be set between streets N. Iorga – Bucuresti – M. Cebotari – 31 August 1989. Access in this perimeter will be allowed through identification tags and invitations, and for the district’s residents – based on the resident lists and ids. The Ministry of Interior and the State Protection and Guard Service apologize for the eventual inconveniences. Authorities ask participants to the traffic to manifest maximum discipline and immediately comply with police officers’ legal demands.
