Anatolie Topală was designated Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and Iurie Pașinschi - of the Ministry of Finance. The two were selected through a contest, IPN reports.

Anatolie Topală previously held the post of director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation, while Iurie Pașinschi - that of head of directorate at the Ministry of Finance.

According to a Government press release, in the contest for the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment no candidate was selected.
