Two dramas and a biographical film will be presented during the second Italian Film Festival in Chisinau. The films will be screened at the Gaudeamus Cultural Center during April 26-28, IPN reports.

Contacted by IPN, Gaudeamus manager Lidia Troianowski said the festival will be opened on April 26 at 18.00 with the movie “Stay quiet!” (Scialla). The film “The father of Giovanna” (Il papà di Giovanna) will be shown on April 27, while the biographic film “Caravaggio”, about the tumultuous life of Michelangelo Merisi, also called Caravaggio, since youth until death on the beach in Porto Ercole, will be screened on April 28, at 18.00.

The same day at 17.30, teacher Eleonora Brigalda will give a news conference about the destiny, life and work of the Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi.

Entrance is free of charge. The event is organized by the Gaudeamus Cultural Center in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in Moldova.
