On the occasion of the International Day of Family that is celebrated on May 15, CCF Moldova launches the second social campaign “Home Stories” whose goal is to support each child and to respect their right to grow in a harmonious, safe and protected environment. The campaign ends on June 1 with a surprise invitee, IPN reports.
During two months each evening, the protagonists of the campaign – artists, TV presenters, bloggers, businesspeople and public figures – will read tales for children. They will urge their communities and the general public to donate on the organization’s platform www.donatii.md. The organization’s partner Victoriabank will double each donation, encouraging this way the people to do good things.
The campaign will take place on all the socialization channels of CCF Moldova: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Those who want to donate can do it conveniently and easily through any of the modalities offered by www.donatii.md.
A sum of 20,000 lei was collected last year as part of the first campaign. The money helped the team in its efforts to support 783 children and their families.
“The families with which CCF Moldova works fully felt the economic, health, educational and emotional crises. Namely these families felt poverty the first as they didn’t have reserves of funds and enjoyed insufficient assistance from elsewhere. Namely these families came together by six-seven in a room and used the same masks during many days, while the disinfectant and soap were a luxury for them. The children from the families that hardly had any electricity, not to mention the Internet, computers and cellphones, took part in online education through intermediaries. If they had special educational needs or disabilities, not even the intermediaries could satisfy their needs,” stated CCF Moldova president Liliana Rotaru, being quieted in a press release.
