Managers of Chisinau preuniversity education institutions will exchange ideas and experience within the second forum “Chisinau Dialogues” that aims to promote education of a high quality. It is taking place on February 22 and 23, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Tatiana Tverdohleb, director of the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, the forum is organized on the initiative of the Dialogue Group that consists of directors of preuniversity education institutions. The aim of this dialog is to promote the successful experiences of teachers and managers of Chisinau. The forum will include several thematic workshops, where the directors will be able to put forward proposals for ensuring education of a high quality and to present the main problems faced by the municipal institutions. Deputy Minister of Education Tatiana Potang said the forum will serve as an example for other institutions of the country. “The Ministry of Education will become involved in achieving the major objectives that will be set by the managers of Chisinau education institutions,” she stated. The head of the Theoretical High School “Gheorghe Asachi” Boris Volosatyi said the budget of the Ministry of Education is increased every year and thus money should be allocated for renovating by an institution so that it does not need repair works for at least 20 years. After the opening of the forum, the working group will design an informative brochure in cooperation with the company DAAC Hermes, which sponsors the project. The brochure will include ideas and suggestions formulated in the forum and will be distributed to all the education establishments in Chisinau.
