The listeners of Radio Moldova can win a flight ticket from Chisinau to and from Warsaw in the second contest “Discover Poland together with Radio Moldova” that is held in partnership with the Embassy of Poland. This will take place live on May 3, when it is celebrated the National Day of Poland, starting at 2:10pm. The prize for the second place is a video camera, while for the third place is a set of books about Poland, IPN reports.

Poland’s Ambassador to Moldova Bartłomiej Zdaniuk, in the program “Matinal National”, said that the Constitution of Poland was adopted on May 3, 1791. “Even if this story didn’t have a nice ending because our neighbors didn’t accept such a situation, intervened and the Constitution was annulled and then they occupied us fully, this day means that we can modernize our country and can struggle for our state to make it more efficient and to be masters at home,” stated the diplomat.

Bartłomiej Zdaniuk noted that May 3 is a moment of national pride. The Embassy’s role is to promote the country and its heritage and this thing is done by different events, such as this contest that is staged in concert with the public station Radio Moldova. Last year the contest attracted attention. A lot of people phoned and showed that they have rich knowledge of Poland and its traditions. Therefore, it was decided to hold the contest this year too.

The person who will win the Top Prize will be able to visit the old and new parts of the capital of Poland. The rubric “Did you know…” about the history and culture of Poland is broadcast on Radio Tineret for the first time this year.
