The second International Festival “Civic Fest: Moldova for the People” will gather together in Chisinau people, projects and partners from Moldova and the EU for a civic dialog and exchange of good practices and innovative projects for the people’s benefit.
According to a communiqué of the festival’s founder, quoted by IPN, the event will bring together projects of civil society of Moldova and other states that gained international recognition and can serve as a model for entrepreneurship and social integration, community development and social inclusion, social-cultural transformations and social responsibility.
Compared with the first festival, which was based more on the presentation of successful civil society projects, this year’s festival includes a number of novelties, such as an Open Space session with master-classes and workshops, a fundraising campaign to support inclusive education in Moldova, a meeting of representatives of the most important private companies and their social projects, and a festival of talents involving children with special needs from both sides of the Nistru River.
The festival will take place at the National Museum of Arts in Chisinau on September 24-26, between 9am and 6pm. Participation can be confirmed by September 22 through the email address office@civicfest.md or on 022 24 02 74 and 068 110969. Among the invitees of honor are representatives of state institutions, the most important private companies, the central and local public authorities, the business sector, civil society, the international and diplomatic community, of media outlets and independent experts.
