A second bomb threat in a day has been reported at the Chisinau City Hall, after a similar incident this morning, and yet another bomb threat has targeted the International Chisinau Airport.
The Airport was locked down at around 3:30 PM. Per the protocol, all the staff and travelers were evacuated. As nothing suspicious was found, the Airport was cleared to resume operations as usual at 4:55PM.
Earlier today, a bomb threat was called in to the Chisinau City Hall and another one to the Central Market. Both proved to be hoaxes.
Making a hoax bomb threat is an offense punishable by a fine of up to 42,500 lei or up to 240 hours of community service.
